When are you taking down your Christmas Decorations?

I am sooo ready to take mine down, but it seems too soon, what about you?

I didn't put any decorations up. I wasn't in the christmas sprit. I do like to watch Christmas Decorations that other people put up.

I started the day after Christmas, my honey finished last Thursday. I was sick of the tree being asaulted by my 2 yr old.

I have taken it down on Christmas Day before but I wanted it up a little longer this year, so ready for it to go away now

We put ours up on Christmas Eve and take them down right after Epiphany, which is January 6th.

I took all the decorations down the day after Christmas. My son is fascinated with the lights and kept trying to rearrange them, with the results that on the day after Christmas I woke up and the tree had been knocked down.

We dont take ours down until the weekend after January 6th since we celebrate Three Kings Day. Its a hispanic tradition that we keep up with our kids. Celebration of the Three Wise Men coming to visit baby Jesus and bringing gifts. Our kids get visited by the 3 Kings and get 3 gifts each. Its a fun thing to do. After that, we take our decorations down.

I admit that I am a bit of a scrooge and would prefer not to have the tree up at all. My wife puts the tree up every year while I watch TV. This year, my boys both helped her (they are toddlers). I complained as I had to assist with the lights. The day after Christmas, the tree was boxed up with all the decorations and put back in storage by the time I got home from work. I was happy to have our living room back again!

We have taken down the tree already only because the cat and dog.They keep playing around it and have knocked it down two times already.Now the outside lights are still up.I probably will take those down within the next few days.

I'm thinking the same thing. Now it's 2007 I want to get into the year and move on from Christmas. I will definately take them down in the next couple of days.

I am guilty of what I feel is a "crime"...I took them down today :( it's pretty sad, it didn't even snow here yet and already they're down. I thought at first to leave them up until at least it snows once but Hey, I can't wait til June the rate this winter is going. Lol
