Do you pray before having you food?? / myLot

Saying a small prayer before having your food is considered to be a good habit. We should thank god for giving us the food we are eating. I say a small prayer before eating my meal. Do you also do so??

yes i do that and i really like this thing and i feel relax after that and i think this is a good thing that we have to do pray to ALLAh and thanks to him that he give us a food again and i do it...i love this thing...

I use to forgot to say prayer before I eat but I always thank god after I finish it:)You post a good discussion here friend..

yeah i do i always pray to god everytime before i have a meal if i eat three times a day i pray 3 times and so on i thank god for whatever he has given me to eat and also i pray to him to keep me happy and all my loved ones happy and free from troubles always

Yes, I have always said grace before meals since I was a child. I must confess, that I sometimes start chatting after a meal and forget to give thanks. I will have to try to leave a little symbol or some such thing near the table, just as a reminder to me to pray after my meal.
