New Year's Day Traditions

I have three: 1. watchfootball 2. eat blackeyed peas (supposedly for good luck) 3. mow the yard (between games)! What do you traditionally do on NY day?

I usually sort my file cabinet to get all the paperwork for one year in order and get ready for the new stuff to start piling up! I didn't do that today -- instead I wrote my columns for the paper and ate way too much. Yikes!

We always have black eyed peas for good luck. I hear that eating green stuff give you prosperity. I don't know if I trust that one though.
