Best way to win against computer in Hardest mode!!

Friends, can anyone tell me how to win against computers when the difficalty rating is set to maximum? Iam talking about AOE-3 expansion pack. And also which empire to choose? I can defeat them If i have allies,but not alone. Can anyone help me?
