Do you have a family pet? Do you give your pet people names?

We have two family pets. Our 12 year old dog is named Edward (aka Ed, Eddie). We also have a 2 year old rabbit named Mike (aka Michael, Mikey). We love that our animals have people names because we talk to them like they are members of the family. Do you give your pets people names?

I do give pets people names sometimes. But none currently I suppose! Currently I have two rabbits: Sunny and Floppy, two guinea pigs: Teacup and Coco (both males!), and 5 unnamed finches.

My family once had a cat called Colleen. We also had a hamster named Eddie, although I can't remember where we came up with that name. Our dogs were named Moxie and Goldie, which aren't particularly human names. We also had some other cats whose names I cannot recall right now. I don't know which I prefer.. giving pets human or non-human names.. I think either is fine, really. But your pets sound adorable. ^_^
