Just a thought that passed through my mind. It may sound silly but it may make sense after all. I don't know. I've heard of so many marital problems that I thought, will it be ethically and morally wrong to include a time frame and make the marriage contract renewable?say after 10 years. We legislated divorce, why not renewable marriage contract? If you are meant for each other, it will only mean lots or renewals, if not, then wait for the contract to expire. Any reaction (not violent ones, I hope)

Marriage is made for both of partner to enjoy their life more enjoyable and security for the partner so in case if there is a clause for renewable contract there will be more divorces than today. So its the security for the other partner that if other one has a problem he should go for the legal process.

Awww that would be so sad. I see where you're coming from but it just takes something from the specialness of marriage.
