LORD OF THE RINGS=Indian Epics...... Agreeing or wat????

Ill tell u as... lord of the rings can be compared to indian epics..... if any1 read the indian epics.. will admit tis ting.. u can compare each and every1 in lord of the rings to the charcters of indian epics Wat u ppl think???

could you please explian in further detial, I would not doubt it, tolkien studied many languages, cultures and literature, but he says that he put no Alegory into any of his writings... Its also said that it is many diffrent myths of Northern Europe and England that he built upon...

did u read indian epics??? its like as lord of the rings tells us that there are many types of ppl... gifted ones like.. Its also co related with greek mythology and al. and also we can connect indian epics.. As te matrix is better much influenced from indian epics

In thic case you could actually apply it to any history which was intended by Tolkien, he wanted it to be a mythology for all...

I am an indian,and I didnt get you. Are you compairing it to ramayana or mahabharatha? please clarify it my friend. There might be some resemblences,but you can never be sure. It has got similarities to greek epics also!

Compare our indian epics like Ramayana and mahabharata.. Like indra nd all to the elves... human beings to frodo and all... And the bad ppls to Asuras.. like.. Like that
