I myself have been to the Marina Beach in Chennai . It was really wonderful. the sound of the roaring sea and the great breeze. I just loved it. Then I also went to a beach in pondichery. It was also the same. I love to lie down in the sand and make small sculptures out of it. What experiences have you had at beaches?

My husband took myself and our 2 kids at the time down to delawear to one of the beachs down there in 2002. My oldest son had a fantastic time and my youngest son did nothing but trying to eat all of the sand that he got his hands onto. It was a very fun time. We were down there for a week and it took the stress from our lives for that week.

I don't know where that's at, but i live in the USA and we go to the beach all the time. Yeah, i love it, but I don't like all the visitors, I wish it would just be us. It gets so full during the summer months. But oh well!

I have been to many sea beaches. I have been to Marina beach in Chennai. Its a huge beach, and i keep on walking like its great. Then i went to Puri beach in Orissa then i went to Pondicherry and Kanyakumari. They barely have huge sea beaches. Then i went to Trivandrum beach but the best sea beach was in Kovalam.

I live one city over from Virginia Beach, Virginia. So, I have been to the beach many times. I'm not a fan of it anymore but I used to love going as a kid. But now, I don't like bathing suits, crabs, jellyfish, sand, too much heat, tourists, or swallowing salt water. I avoid going now.

you say that because you live too close to a beach. Ask them who stay far away. They love to go to a seaside. but still thanks for the response

Well, I tend to enjoy colder weather. I love snow! So, that is probably why I don't like the beach. I suppose it could have something to do with living so close to one too.
