can anybody in this world forgive america, if u can tell me how and y, for the very fair trial they gave to saddam? for the love with which they treat the iraqi women (heared some of those bastrds raped the poor women), for their display of courage and manhood (the americans murdered 3 of saddams lawyers now isnt that wat we all call manhood and freedom), or for turning a place hell so that u dont have to die to visit hell u jus have to visit iraq how cool is that. now we shall thank the americans for all this and for guarding human rites. cheers for america for wounding a nation or should i say killing a nation... to forgive or not to forgive that is the question???

To me, Saddam is to blame for all the problems and calamities that has befallen Iraq. When a siner suffers, the inocents would definitely have their tolls as well. Saddam transgressed the penal code guiding the human rights, international relations and hence, world peace. Saddam draged Iraq into all this mess. So i think we need not holdany grudge against US at all.

Why did your country need food and medical aid in the first place... I am sure that was the US fault too... not the fact that Saddam was living high off the hog while the people of his country were suffering.

Saddam is lucky to even have a trial, he was serving as an enemy comabatant, not as a civilian, in fact he could have been executed by the US military a few days after his capture, for any number of reasons.

The Iran Iraq war had the solid support from USA.Its US which provided all the weapons and chemicals to him to use against Iran When he used it in 1980s why did America turn a blind eye to it and now hang him for the same reason? Haven't you seen Rumsfeld shaking hands with him?I did read on the net that Kuwait invasion had american support..Not sure how true it is but the US support him

When this has been done, who knows America just might stop punishing the islamic world, do it not and nor will the usa, dont mess with the big boys if you dont want a beating

If you feel like blaming some one , blame Those the governtment of America and the government of Iraq. And not the american and not The Iraq civilians . Once again dont use the word Americans. Because there are innocents civilians american who knows nothing about politics like the decision makers do. There Might be even thousands of Indian national living in america. Are you going to skin them alive as well? Once again lets blame those politician and the decision makers .

For the man who first responded to this. Yes, the citizens of America had a vote in 2004. 51% of the people voted for John Kerry, while 49% voted for George W. Bush. Even though Mr. Kerry won the popular vote, the electorial college, which has been in place since this nation was founded, determined that Mr. Bush remain in office. I know many people who did not really want Mr. Bush in office, but voted for him anyway. Mainly because they did not agree with the political views of Mr. Kerry. Your posts are suggesting that you wish to come to this country and start arbitrarily kill americans because we had to make difficult choices, choose the lesser of two evils, and the vote did not go your way. Well, guy, that's just TOO BAD!!

YOU ARE VERY CLOSE MINDED, WASN'T IT IRAQ WHO FIRST ATTACKED AMERICA AND KILLED TONS AND TONS OF PEOPLE AND CHILDREN IN THE 911 INCIDENT? I THINK SADDAM GOT WHAT HE DESERVED HE WAS JUST AS BAD AS HITLER, OR IS HE YOUR HERO TOO? HE KILLED MILLIONS OF HIS OWN PEOPLE AND INNOCENT PEOPLE IN OTHER COUNTRIES AS WELL, I'M GLAD HE WAS EXECUTED AND I AM PROUD OF AMERICA AND I AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN! AND YES WE DO PROTECT OUR RIGHTS AND JUST BECAUSE YOUR PEOPLE DON'T AGREE WITH THEM DON'T MAKE THEM WRONG, BECAUSE WE DEFINETLY DON'T AGREE WITH YOURS OR YOUR TRADITIONS. IRAQ HAS KILLED SO MANY PEOPLE IN COMPARISON TO THE U.S, ALMOST EVERYONE HATES IRAQ BECAUSE OF THEIR TERRORISM AND THEIR TYRANNY, SO DON'T HATE ON US BECAUSE WE DEFEND OURSELVES. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT TOO BAD!

Did you forgot that the peaceful religion killed 3,000 americans in two hours? Do you know that almost every conflict in the world is between muslims that cant get along with there neighbors. They are killing each other, muslim to muslim, in many places like Iraq. Africa is a mess and hundred of thousands have been killed because Islamist have taking over that area. If america stayed out of world affairs, right now your contry would be speaking german.

Dude, you are someone to be talking about the treament of Iraqi women. Are you aware that there was a school for girls that caught fire (not caused by any American) and the doors were locked from the outside. The Iraqi's stood by and watched them burn. Why? Because they were FEMALE. I don't think it's right that our female soldiers are required to wear that ridiculous veil. See, we RESPECT your customs. And did Iraq have the right to attack Kuwait back in 1990? I think not. And it was actually Saddam's supporters who murdered his lawyers. Why? They didn't think he was getting a fair trial. Look, I think we ought to let you guys eat sand and choke on your oil. I think we should let you keep your women ignorant and without education. I think we should let your corrupt governement stand, but my oil loving president doesn't. Why? Because he's in bed with YOUR Bin Laden financial supporters. It's obvious that Iraqi's don't want freedom or democracy. You would rather follow a dictator than think for yourself. Fine. I don't care about you. As for rape, JESSICA LYNCH. It was Iraqi's that raped her. Rape isn't right no matter who does it. So take that off the table. Neither is murdering 400k people in a mass grave. Saddam was responsible for over 2 million deaths. You have gotten what you wanted; a controversial discussion you think will make you a lot of money. WRONG. There are ways around that.

America did not try Saddam. his own country Iraq tried him. America just went in and caught him for them. Saddam's Lawyers were not killed by America. They were killed by the Iraqi people. It is not America that is causing the fighting between the Iraqi people. They were fighting each other before America got involved, and will fight each other when America finally goes home. They are fighting for power and control. They are not peace keepers as they would have you think. Though I am sure they all want peace. But they all want control of the country too.. Each side thinks they are better than the other side. Easch side thinks the other side is the enemy. That won't stop when America leaves. Do I agree with America being over there? No. But we are there until the leaders of that country ask us to leave, or tell us we are no longer needed. Has that happened yet? No. Are there bad people in America? Yes. Just like anywhere else. And you can bet your bottom dollar they wll be dealt with. American's do not get away with stuff like people in other countries do.. And those that broke the law will learn that lesson the hard way. But don't blame America for the problems in Iraq. Those problems were there long before America even got involved.

i have read through this long lengthy discussion and many have said some very enlightening things. Tragic is this war, the cause of it, and all the happenings within it. Will it ever end? I am not speaking about the war but of the hate it created. To forgive is divine, as you sow so shall you reap. I have to ask did America kill a nation as you stated, or did America help to save it? The answer is not known as of now. but will be known in the future. The next generation will benifit from the acts taken in this present time, this is the hope is it not?

you can't judge an entire country for a few bad seeds. i'm sure most people know that by now. america had NOTHING to do with the trial saddam recieved. he was tried by his own goverment and nation. we just reported on it...thats about it. i can't speak for the men who harmed other woman, but most of them were probably punished for it. America is one of the most powerful countries and honestly i think we're trying to help a nation who needs it. If you do not like americans in your counrty, then petition your government to have them leave. from my understanding, they're there to train your soilders to defend for themselves and protect their own nation. there's nothing wrong with needing help.

xxhabxx Just a little reminder for you............ Saddam Hussein took on the Coalition forces in 1991. He took a SEVERE BEATING!! He lost! NATO Forces are SUPERIOR to anything else the World can offer, even the Russians are now no match! The Serbs thought they would have a go a few years back!! Cruise Missiles do tend to make a mess of things, you know that! Milosovich thought he could win too!! WRONG! Saddam Hussein decided that he would take the NATO Forces on again and guess what, even though Tariq Ali (His mouth piece) was telling EVERYONE that US Tanks would not enter Baghdad, and whilst giveing the interview on TV the US tanks were RIGHT BEHIND HIM! Guess what!! HE LOST AGAIN!!! Would you not think that a reasonable sensible man who look at the forces that are against him, consider his people, and say OK, I will abide by what the United Nations Mandate has said!! WOULD YOU THINK THAT??? NOPE!!!!! He did not!! NOW................. WTF is to blame for the mess in Iraq????

Let me get this straight. America does all the killing and atrocities in Iraq, but you diddle your mother. No wonder you aren't rational. Just to get things in perspective, pop out of your box and look into the atrocities in some of the African countries or how about the Serbs and Croatians. Is that America's fault too? You've got Muslims killing Muslims in Iraq, Afganistan, Indonesia--that's called a civil war, by the way. How do you rationalize that kind of infighting? It's not American Muslims doing the killing. It's natives killing natives. No doubt what you do is ok because you aren't an American.

I'm confused and wonder why would everyone listen to USA? Who do they think they are? The only thing that really annoys me is Americans keep on saying "hey, we're only unnotized citizens". Should we reply "Hey, but you guys voted for him twice!" I mean, I wonder what's on their heads! Well, Saddam Husein is a bad guy, but Bush isnt better than him! He already mocked on our (muslims) face by hanging a person during Eidil Adha! Cant that be postpone lets say, 1 day later? Well, I think Bush should be hung too! And I'm looking forward to that day!

im not American, nor am i a muslim, but i do get angry when people try to re write history. Lets get this straight, point 1 The Iraqi courts found saddam guilty, the Iraqi hang man hung him, Point 2, It was muslims who flew the airplanes in to the world trade centre. With these points in mind, every islamic state deserves everything it gets and so did saddam

We are not perfect, us Americans, but there are far more national upon national crime that we have ever committed over there. Nobody talks about the schools built, school books given/etc generally at the soldiers own expense. But if you feel the need to be Politically Correct, go ahead and bash the greatest country on earth. No nationality is perfect we all have a&&holes, but US bashing seems to be a pasttime for the uninformed & ignorant.
@starr4all (2863)

These same people who like to bash are also the same countries that EXPECT us to help them out financially or medically. I'm getting tired of this we help them and so what do they do? They bash us mentality. Maybe next time they need help we turn our back and let them fend for themselves. They don't need us so why should we help them?
