With there being so many different religions in the world, and even more followers overall I find it really facinating to see how each of us individually define our path....So here is my question If someone completely unfamiliar with ANY religion at all were to ask you to define your path...what would you say? Please try to make your answer from your heart and soul not text etc.. My personal path is a blend of Witchcraft, Buddhism and Vodou on a basic level (its more complex than that but this is the basics)...I am a part of the earth and everything on it and the universe really its all a part of me. I dont worship any higher power though I do believe in one but they arent involved..they're kind of like on the sidelines watchign the show i suppose you could say....I respect my home (Earth) and the creatures that I share it with (meaning ppl, animals, plants etc) and work with them, protect them, learn from them to the best of my ability...All living things are equal and should be treated with loving kindness, mindfulness and respect..Suffering is a part of life and an absolute necessity but one that we should learn and grow from....Through suffering I find peace within which in turn helps me to send peace out to the world around me...I also find peace within by developing my mind, enhancing my knowledge and so on which helps me to be as openminded and accepting/understanding as I am which again is sent out to the world aroudn me ..I work with the energy within myself and all around me by means of magick, meditation and so on...My ancestors are my guides and my teachers and are there to help should I need them though I try to avoid calling on them and prefer to work from deep within myself since I have all the answers I need...its just a matter of accessing them...I believe in the cycle of life= birth, death, rebirth and fully believe that we live many lives in order to learn all aspects of living..once our lessons are complete we die one finally time, we become the guide to our loved ones and eventually become a part of the Lwa.... Thats the basics...I wanted to put more but brainfarted and that was it my thoughts went out the window...LOL

Let's see if I can put this into some kind of order that makes sense. I'm still working on my path ... I believe in quantum physics. I believe that we are all made up of energy - the trees, the animals, water, everything is made of energy. And we are all the same. We are all connected. I think some of what I believe in falls under pantheism. I believe in nature and the fact that it's part of us and we have a responsibility to care for it. I think that when we die we go back to being energy... until we choose to be reborn. I believe in free will. I think that god/goddess is energy and since we are made of energy we are all the god/goddess or have the god/goddess within us. I believe that most of this world is illusion (maya) and I believe in the 4 Noble Truths and walking the 8 fold path. I believe in living how I want to live as long as it doesn't harm others. I believe in the paranormal. I believe in being openminded. I believe that there is something true and beautiful in all religions - but that none of them are entirely right. I believe in Peace but I also believe in protecting myself and mine. There is more... but I can't think of it now. My beliefs come from Pantheism, Wicca, Buddhism, new age religions, some from Hinduism and some from science.
