Gender Selection

My husband and I are trying to get pregnant and I just had my tubes untied. My doctor has informed me when going over my ovulation calender that there are certain days that I can concieve a certain gender by almost 80%. I thought it was cool at first but after thinking about it. I was not so sure that it is something that should be left to us. I know that there has been a lot of discussion about gender selection with invitro. But was wondering how many people would actually try choosing if it could be done naturally?

I will share with you what I've just shared with another mylot client as regards gender selection of your upcoming baby. If you have a regular 28 to 30 day cycle, you can easily point out your fertility period. Otherwise, you will have to consult your ob-gyne to define as to how to detect your fertile days. For women with regular monthly periods, the fertility period starts on the 14th day counting from the first day of menstruation. So, if you want to have a boy, do it on the 15th, 16th, or 17th day. The y chromosomes in your husband's semen are likely to fertilize the egg for, they are much faster and quicker than the x chromosomes. The husband must not waste his semen for 5 days. This ensures that he will have plentiful active semen when you do the act. In order to have a baby girl, do it on the 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th day counting from the first day of menstruation. By the time you ovulate and the egg is ready for fertilization, the x chromosomes from your husband's semen will be there ready to fertilize the egg. The reason for this is all the y chromosomes are short-lived and were thus eliminated by the passage of time. This has a 98% efficacy and worked 100% in my case.

I have heard of alot of people that baby dance on certian days to have a better chance of one gender over another. Personally it didn't bother me what I as going to have so I didn't pay any attention to the ovulation chart. I think if you want to do it naturally (that is chosing days to baby dance) thats okay, I don't feel strongly about using medicine to your advantage though.
