I mean noticably nuts and in what way? I have a couple friends and an ex boyfriend who are Whooohooo out there. They are paranoid scizophrenics. I also know a few folks who are obsessive compulsive and some that suffer with depression. Sometimes these people are difficult to remain friends with but I feel like somebody has to try to keep them grounded and "with us".

They are, out there in their own little world. You would think if your mind created it's own world that it would be a happy one right. NOT!

it seems that a large number of mentally ill people are highly intelligent or highly creative. It really is sad.

I know this one guy back home who really is a nutcase...I remember one summer some yrs back he had put on a pair of "super-roos" complete with cape, climbed to the top of one of the tower lift bridges and was goin to jump....now I dont remember if he was goin to jump to kill himself or if he thought he could fly and I really shouldnt giggle but omg what a sight! Whats really interesting (I foudn this to be pretty common too) is that he is an EXTREMELY talented artist...in fact majority of the Outlaws, Choice etc would have him do the airbrushing on their bikes and his work was truly amazing...

Yeah - I know one who ... purposely makes harmless mistakes, such as silly typos just to make people laugh. Or when a situation arises, say something, sometimes purposely, sometimes by accident, that just says something that ... just get people laughing. For me to see that person, all I need to do is look in the mirror. One example of an accident. I had two co-workers, one guy & one lady who wanted to head to the nearby deli, & asked if someone else can go with them. Finally, I ended up saying, "You two have each other. What more do you want?"

Unfortunately, I was exposed to a person who suffers form borderline personality disorder. The person though aware their condition refuses to get treatment. I was the most horrible experience of my life and why I began to teach depression awareness.
