What's your opinion about adoption?

I am a mother of 2 adopted children-I've suffered alot over the years & I miss my children,having said that I still think my choice was the right one. A good mother does whats best for her children even if that means they can't be w/ her. What's your opinion?

If you knew there was no way you could care for your kids, for whatever reason it was (not asking for the actual reason), then it was probably best for the kids and you made the correct decision.

Thanks for that response-I used to be able to talk about my children b/c I was so proud of them but soon found out that others thought it was appauling that I could speak of my children & place them w/ other families-they were talking about me behind my back,a friend told me.

I think you are a very smart woman to be able to know that you couldn't take care of your children and to let them have the best life that they could have. I can understand missing the children and maybe one day you will be able to reunite and explain to them the reasons you did what you had to do at the time. I'm sure that whoever is raisign your children is giving them a wonderful life.

Depending on the situation, overall, being a mom myself I can't imagine what you go through, if your concern was for your childrens best interest, who are we to judge anyone. The knowledge of having a good home with loving parents, hopefully makes it somewhat easier on you. I belive adoption to be a good option for parent that has no other choice.
