I am new to this site. Looks like there are a lot of topics and interests. Does anyone have suggestions how to get started making some money? Do you make more starting discussions or is it the same if you just post responses?

If you refer people you also make 25% of everything they make. Best of luck :)

i am newcomer as well.you can get from both ways.i've already post 5 discussions and 2 responses and i earned not more than $.20.so it's all depends how motivated and determined you are to earn.i think so.tq

Well you can earn from both ways . 1)Creating New Discussions. 2)Responding to Discussions. but i prefer repsonding to others discussion earn you more... WELCOME TO MYLOT and BEST OF LUCK !!!
