Hi, I am also looking into this camera. I don't know much about them so when I saw your discussion I was hoping to get some information on it.
It looks like it's good from what I have researched about it. I have looked at review of it and I think that's the model I am going to get. you can check prices and reviews at these sites if you are interested.

This camera is prety good.
I only checked one thing bad,this camera haven´t optical zoom,only digital...

my digital camera model is Canon Digital Ixus. i bought it last year.

I have a Canon Digital Ixus. It's small and I like it's desing. I think I will change it in the near future because it is getting old (it has more than 5 years). The only problem I have with it is that I can't transfer the photos on my computer because the drivers don't support Windows XP. They only work on windows 98.
