Banning cell phones with cameras.... What do you think??

I have a camera phone. I have heard some news about some countries that have banned camera phone there. Do you think this is the right way to make people understand?? Every technology can be miss used in some or the other way; we do not ban everything, do we??? If we ban every technology that can be missused, there will be nothing left that can be used legally. So what I think is Government should make people understand how they should use there camera phones and make people aware of it. There can be laws and punishments/fines that enables someone to complain that their photos where shot without there permission but banning is not a good idea... What do you people say about this???
