How NOT to make Peanut Butter Cookies with "Hershey Kisses"!

I followed the directions on the package of hershey kisses to a "T" but I didn't wait long enough to apply the "kisses" and this is what I ended up with;) Want to share your baking horror stories?

lmao....That's hilarious. I can't think of one of my own horror stories at the moment but I still have one... My brother in law would try and try and try to make chocolate chip cookies all by himself, this is when he was 14-15, and EVERY single time they would come out really flat, burnt on the bottom and SQUARE...Yes, SQUARE, lmao. I don't know how but every single time. And I'm talking about him trying atleast 30 times (not in same day, of course). Can you believe that? He finally gave up. lol Sorry your cookies didn't turn out, but hey, now you know what to make next Halloween, ha ha! Have a great day!

Many years ago, I was trying to impress a boyfriend.. I was at his house and I thought I'd be slick and bake him homemade chocolate chip cookies.. I followed the directions and baked them and they came out LOOKING perfect... What I *Thought* was flour in the container under the counter was actually COFFEE CREAMER.. Who puts coffee creamer in a tupperware container? So I made chocolatechip/coffeecreamer cookies... I'm def. no Martha Stewart!

oh my god! lol...You just made me think of one of mine!!! I had just started dating my very first boyfriend and it was Christmas time. I invited him over to make cookies and have dinner. Well, after dinner, I make the cookie dough, we roll it out, cut designs in them, and bake them. Well after they came out, we were all so busy decorating them that noone thought to try one...OHHHH but when we did, they about broke our teeth. I forgot to add the grease!!!!!!! ANd they were like the most durable cookies ever, they were as hard as hockey pucks. So, we had all these decorated cookies that noone could eat so we hung them on the tree as ornaments. I was so embarrassed!!! He said "I'm glad you didn't make the dinner!"....lol

I don't have any horror stories to share but I wanted to comment on your cookies. Sorry but I got a little chuckle out of it. But I bet they are still good. Melted kisses are better than no kisses at all.
