Christians and crosses??

Actualy there is nothing new about wareing a cross. before the christian sect wore them the cross was a religious simble for eons. The cross was first used as a sun image, it had four rays and sometimes more imanating from the center, also called sun disks, the cross evolved thrugh time in ancint religions to some of the crosses seen today. It was adopted by the Church of Rome as a "Christian simbol" reconising the crusifiction of Christ, but sepertus christian sects regarded the cross as blasphemus, So why is it still done? Who knows?

I guess you are referring to Catholics. I was a Roman catholic before and I wear cross around my neck too. According to them it is a weapon for demons. If you wear it, you are safe from any bad spirits.
