how do you choose the discussions you wanna answer to?

I respond to topics that I know about, have an interest in, deep feelings about, or feel that in some way I can make a good contribution or viewpoint.

I prefer to be/ try to be reasonable and a little bit funny in almost everything trying to seek the positive side of almost everything

I just scroll through until I find one that is interesting or something that I know about. I'm going to stop doing that however, because it's too time consuming and just start doing searches on what interests me! How do you choose?
