is the world going crazier and crazier everyday?

hello i'm new here to mylot, and i've been reading some great topics, and responses, and it's got me thinking.
now everytime i read the paper or watch the news their is always something bad happening, so evil you cant even bear to think about it, like that black kid who got stabbed in the head with an axe for just being black. a small majority of muslims blowing themselves up, a small majority of priests fondling with young boys and girls, and now wars all over the world. the reasons we went to war with iraq was because saddam had weapons of mass destruction, well where are they? good men and women are dying for these reasons.
now in your honest opinion do you feel this world is getting crazier and crazier everyday?

my girlfriend buys this magazine about true stories, i dont read it, i cant stand reading stories like that, but i think to myself these guys are normal people like me and you, but their so evil. one story was about a wife who killed her husband, cooked his brains and fed it to the kids. i thought the story was far fetched or complete lies altogether, but then before i knew it, it was in the newspaper.
i just think to myself that the whol world is literally going mad.

Yes it is!!! I mean there's always been bad stuff on the news, but it does seem like it's getting worse. You have people killing and torturing their own children, using them as weapons, letting animals chew their toes off. One woman in Indianapolis was so strung out, she let her 18 month old get out of the house and they found him playing in the middle of an INTERSTATE!!! Everyone's at war!! Or raping and killing someone, or robbing them. It's horrible and I'm very sad that I've brought 5 beautiful children into this world that is going to hell!!
