I live in the USA. I use the dryer to usually dry my clothes. There are a few things that i will air dry so they do not shrink in the dryer.

I am in Ireland and it is very rainy at the moment, not the ideal weather for drying clothes outdoors. I can either put my clothes into the clothes dryer or I hang them on the radiators. I like hanging them on the radiators, as the smell of the fabric conditioner gives a nice smell throughout the house.

I am from Australia and I like to dry the clothes on the clothesline if the weather is fine and sunny. They dry really quickly and smell lovely and fresh. There are some days over winter here that make this impossible and then the handy dryer gets a real workout!!!

clothes line drying - hanging my clothing to dry is so soothing to me. There gets to be a pattern in the hanging and taking down of fresh laundry
Line drying is my absolute favorite since there is nothing else that can give me that fresh air smell. Clothes pins make hanging them very easy and there becomes a pattern to putting them and then taking them down when dry.
