it can cause permanent damage any sort of trauma to the head will cause damgae so repeted blows to the head will leave lasting damage .y they do it. i can answer that from experiance i was a boxer for 2 years the rush the adrenalin starts pumping from getting in the ring even more when you manage to knock someone out

Personally I hate boxing... I can't see the sense in 2 people beating the c@#$ out of each other! I suppose they do it for the money, but I will never encourage my boys to do it. My husband has different ideas however and thinks its a great sport. Must be a man thing!
