Shouldn't men know how to cook?

i guess men should know how to cook if not all dishes atleast basic dishes wherein if they are to stay alone at any point in life it is very much important so that he can cook on his own and have food

Well a man should know how to take care of himeself, but in the case of maybe he is not good at it then what? He finds a woman who is also not good at cooking, then it's take outs, and frozen dinners.

I have no idea and i guess that once again it all just comes down to more stereotypes. I guess it is because we take an interest in cooking right away. Some men think that it is not their duty as they probably grew up watching their mother cook but their are getting to be more and more men that love to cook!
