Yes, I read The Daily Word. I find I can usually relate to the word of the day. It's almost like the little book was written for me on that certain day. Today's word is "pray for others". I haven't heard from a relative since the beginning of this year so see what I mean about how I can relate.

Just wanted to let you know that I heard from my realtive last night. She had lost her cell phone. My prayers were answered. She's safe and sound. Thank you for the best response.

I used to read my missal every night before going to bed, as I feel, out of the twnety four hours in the day, I should spend a few minutes talking to God. However, I regularly skip it now.

Do you mean a book called this or just inspirational scripture? I try to read something most days but sometimes life (including children get in the way) Prayer is always there though and I know we need to be fed to inspire us to continue to grow in faith.
