If you don't already know this act, basically this act is to remove the responsibility for illegal immigrants who were brought to the United States as children by their parents without their own consensual decision. If enact, this act will give illegal students the right to go to college, enlist in army, and apply for permanent resident. Personally, I am a big supporter of the DREAM Act. I don’t think children should be punished for what their parents did, and since most of them were group up here and have been educated in the States, why not let them go to college if they have to ability to do so. I just don’t think it is fair to a student who probably study very hard to get into college, but cannot go due to his/her immigration status. Some of these kids will go work in black market, earning minimum wages. But if we give them the opportunity to get a better education, they will get better jobs, have better lives, the crime rate probably will decrease, and they will contribute to our society in a positive way. Before you post your thoughts, please watch this short video on Dream Act, I actually cried during the video. http://youtube.com/watch?v=nV1slsN3Pk8
