Should there be an age limit on driving a car, let's say 20 to 70?

Eighteen for most people is a responsible age. They’re looking to be independent themselves and I wouldn’t consider it a lot who go on to drive recklessly, lifting the age limit is only going to further the amount of people that are on the road without a license, without ‘education’ and without insurance. As for the ‘up to’ age of seventy. Most old drivers are better skilled then those who are younger, 50+ years of experience on a road suddenly isn’t going to disappear when you hit seventy, and it certain will be better than those with 10 years experience who think their ‘gods‘ on the road. Older drivers have been there, done that. They’re aware of the consequences their actions can have. Most older people visit the opticians regularly to prevent loss of sight at that age, so most will be driving in tip top condition.
