harry potter and the deathly hallows

hey that's the title of the seventh book.does anyone know what hallows means?and what are your opinions about the title?i think it sounds a bit grim!

I'm not sure what the Hallows part is about, but I think the fact that it's grim is sort of fitting, seeing as it's the last book in the series. I like it.

Hmmm...!! Sounds scary, doesn't it? Like some sort of a Horror Book title. When I first came across the title, it made me think of long deep tunnels like the caves in HBP. And later, I thought of the Veiled Archway because of the word DEATHLY. The meaning of the word Hallow is a "saint or a holy person". And the verbal meaning is "to make someone holy or sacred". As always the title is quite mysterious.

wow! i just discovered the name of the title from you now! :) its very hard to predict from the title whats going to be in the next book since Jk rowling makes sure that there are always surprises in her books. Thus, no use guessing! :)
