menstrual cycle

In which age of girl it shud be started? After how much each days it shud come again? Actually one of my friend girl stated in 13. Is it problamatic?

hi,the girl reaches to mensus age will be differ from girl to girl and based on heridetary..food habbits...health condition,it may vary from 11 to even 17,18 also.once it happened ,for every month the same date [1 or 2 days this side or that side]she may hace the mensus.the eggs/ovules produced by girl will be come as mensus,as they are not fertilisation with male sperm.After marriage once the ovule/egg is fertilised with male sperm,the mensus will be stopped till delivery of a child.i wrote what i know...

perugu is absolutely right. one of my relatives had cycle early at 13 years while other relative got at 17 years. this occasion is celebrated in some parts of south india to make aware to the village ,that the girl has become matured enough to marry,so marriage proposals can be started ..and also to warn the boys that now playing with this girl will have to face dangerous consequence if by mistake the girl and any boy have a intercource after this event(menstrual cycle).

a menstrual cycle can start anywhere from 9 to 18. I was 12.I use to have bad pain and I use to get sick but now i am almost finished with them.Thank God

thnx for response and I got anser of one query too........actually as all were saying why she started in 13 year of age.....but its natural i think
