Is it really so hard to say "I LOVE YOU"

Why is it so hard to say "I love you"?. whay do we have to think so hard before saying this to a girl we love so much. I have been facing this problem and I don't have the courage to say it. I want your views that why is it so hard????

I LOVE YOU It is just the three simple words that can easily be said by any one. But it would be so hard, too difficult to make and feel it real. Keeping the so called Love alive and true, tough!

I think it is hard if you mean what you're going to say. It is because you don't know the reactions you are getting. It is also because you terrified of what would the results be. Saying "I Love You" to someone who doesn't mean a thing to you would be easier. It is because you don't care at all.
