A good idea to increase discussions !

I have seen many ppl post topics which can be easily categorized under interests, so why we have to go to general discussions when we can talk to ppl who with common interests like their are many interests that ppl hav'nt tried yet. For example "books" interest is very usefull but ppl dont bother telling names of books to each other or share their experience under certain category of books. If one posts under its own interests, it will not affect its points (earnings) and at the same time it can get more responses than the general discussions, as their are many general discussions that disappear and go at 2nd or on other pages. For example I posted computer trouble shooting now its a great idea if u can get help out of these dicussions but in 5 minutes the first page was filled with more discussions ! Do u think that its a good idea to post under categories ???
