I'm old school, Sonic 3 & Knuckles for me. It was just so... epic. You really felt something was happening and a plot was building.

I think that Sonic 3 was the best game overall. it was the only one on which you can save your progress! Honestly, how ticked off were you when you got to level 5 on sonic 2 and you had to start over when you turned off the game? that always irked my nerves.

I love the old Sonic games, they are brilliant!
I liked Sonic 1,2,3 and it was great when you added them to the Sonic & Knuckles cart as you could get to some hidden areas!
