i used piratesbay.com and demonbase or something long ago but i left em coz torrents are real slow

Check the health of the torrent before downloading. And use uTorrent to download any of the torrents from the net.

I stopped using torrent site because I lost my cable connection one time. So, now I only use limewire.com. It has the same stuff but is not illegal like the torrents sites. Give it a try, it is free and if you want to upgrade just find the upgrade on the site and do it free too.
