It's a gret song, but far from their best. For me, Since I've been loving you is their best song.

Kashmir is fantastic~! I love it so much. It was the second song of theirs that I heard, after Stairway. The extra instrumentation with the strings makes it an amazing piece... even if you can't understand what Robert Plant is saying at all!

The guitar solo of Stairway to heaven was posted the best guitar solo ever in the history. The way jimmy page, the legendary guitarist played that in one of the live version was awesome! I just saw it in a video but still it was just lively as it would in reality. It's a great song. I like other songs from the zeppelin like, four sticks, going to california, rock and roll, black dog, etc...

Stairway to heaven is a great song, but "best" is a matter of opinion....i personally like "kashmir", "the rain song" better....but STH is definitely the most famous....methinks because of that awesome guitar solo...

I think that Stairway was great, but not their best. Other songs like the Rain Song have - in my opinion - even deeper lyrics. Black Dog and No Quarter demonstrate their versatility and ability to create amazingly catchy songs that will haunt you for days. So no, I don't think it's their best - just their most played song. I heard somewhere that Led Zeppelin did not even consider it their best.

well.. I like stairway to heaven, I fascinate when I learn guitar, cause they play guitar very good...and see it from Koreans drama with same title with the song and become that OST

Stair to heaven is a beauty song of Led Zeppelin, but I think this song is just the most famous.

It's a really great song but there are plenty that I like better: Rain Song, Ten Years Gone, Kashmir. The album stairway's on (Zoso/Led Zeppelin IV) is probably their strongest, though.

yeah stairway to heaven is the signature song for led zeppelin..but i also listen to some zepp songs like the rain song..whenever i'm heartbrocken,the song since i've been loving you sedates me well...

the song since i've been loving you is one classic blues. i play it too when i feel gloomy. the aggressiveness of how it was sung relaxes me in a way. but if you want to bring your emotions back to normal dude, i suggest you listen to Led Zepp's Rock and Roll... that's what i do

i don't think it's their best song but i would definitely agree that it's their most famous. when you hear the song, the first thing that comes to mind is the band. and yes, i do love the song very much

It is definitely one of their most famous, and when I first started listening to their music it was my favorite.
Then I started buying some hard to find albums (yes actual vinyl LOL) and found so many songs that I would list as favorite.

I think "Stairway To Heaven" is over played, it is a good song but Zeppelin did lots more good songs that don't get played enough.
If it weren't played so much I might enjoy the song more but I'm so bored with it now I just turn it off when it comes on.

stairway to heaven is one of the best songs sung by led zeppelin but it is best of the best thats why this song is on #1 in 100 all time rock songs... great piece of work by jimmy page on guitar... and nicely sung by robert plant... they also sung great songs like kashmir, black dog, ten years gone, ramble on, fool in the rain, going to california etc...
