I have a small garden but after ten years I have it so it grows three kinds of apples, pears, apricots, cherries, black, and white grapes, blueberries, rhubarb, hazelnuts and many kinds of flowers for the house in Summer. Do you have a garden, or just a pot or two on a window ledge? What do you like to grow?

I've unfortunately not been able to have a garden since moving to the U.S from Canada BUT this yr I plan to actually put in a few...the two main ones will be a veggie garden with chili peppers, green peppers, cucumbers, roma tomatos, cherry tomatos, carrots, lettuce, possibly garlic and the kids want to grow watermelon and cantoloupe...and the other will be a herb garden with Lavendar, Chamomile, oregano, dill, thyme, basil and some others but I've not decided which yet..I have plenty of time though considering planting wont be possible until mid May..

Wow..Sounds like you got a busy year ahead. :) Good on ya!!! It's great to get the kids involved. I'm sure some kids think food grows in cans. :)

I do not have a garden. Even a pot. I have allways been a very bad gardener. It doesn"t mean that I do not love the nature or the flowers. Maybe if once I win an lottery and I move to the country I will have a garden, and I will try to plant such nice trees, fruits or flowers than you. You can be proud of your garden. It is really great.

I have a tangerine tree and a satsuma tree. Other than that a few houseplants at the office. The pets would destroy them at home!

This is the first year that I get to have a garden so I am going whole hog! I am planting: Corn, squash(many varieties), potaoes, toamtoes(red&yellow), spinach, colard greens, leeks, swiss chard, onions, peppers, cuccumbers, lettuce, radishes, beets, cabbage, pears, beans(variety), strawberries, cantalope, blueberries, blackberries. I am thinking there may be one or two more additions but this is my garen for now. Oh,my! I forgot the herbs! I will have an herb container garden because I have heard that some herbs take over your whole garden. I also want to plant apple, peach, pear, trees and some grape vines as well!

Unfortunately, I don't grow anything. Someday when we get a bigger place I'd like to do that. I like fruits, so I'll probably grow those.

I have a small plot where I live right now. I grow lilac, daisies, lillies, marigolds, tulips, daffadills, white grapes, jasemine, all sorts of mint, violets, poppies, fennel, dill, chives, parsley, beets, turnips, all sorts of squash, mulberry, african purple grass, climbing spinach, and tea roses. I don't think I missed anything, oh yes primroses and cilantro.

Well, the vegetable garden was something new this year and we had tomatoes and basil. Next spring I'm adding peppers and cherry tomatoes. We grow a lot of flowers but they're all pretty prosaic - daffodils, tulips, roses, casa blanca lilies, tiger lilies, clematis, black eyed susans, marigolds, alyssum, peonies etc....I'd like to try some tree peonies. They're really beautiful but I think they take a couple years to bloom and I like instant gratification in a garden.
