Which president do you think has bettered our country the most. Clinton signed the NAFTA agreement, it is cost our nation so many jobs. Bush sent our soldiers into war. Clinton had an affair that showed the country that even the president can cheat on his wife and get caught. Bush has delivered an eulogy for two past presidents. Bush was president during our country's biggest terrorist attack in years. Clinton signed the FMLA into effect, making it possible for employers to have to let employees take a medical leave. Bush helped to get the Medicare Act of 2003 passed Clinton helped to implement the "Don't ask, Don't tell" policy in the Military. There are many other things that each president done while if office. Which items helped you, your family or friends. Which one do you think helped our nation more and why.

Clinton signed NAFTA thingy and now most of the jobs in my small rural area are going overseea. This has affected me and my family. I have lost 3 job due to this amd my husband also. He was able to find another job but now it looks like they are getting ready to go overseas too. So I would have to say I like George better.

Both Presidents have had their problems. I'd say in the end though, Clintons inaction on foreign policy issues, I'd say the best for the people is President Bush. President Clinton (while I personally despise him) did have his great moments on the domestic front. He successfully upheld the upswing in the economy and kept the overall morale of the nation at a near all time high. Unfortunately he did pass several key foreign policies off to a group of advisors. His focus was clearly "ITS THE ECONOMY STUPID" which only showed off his domestically focused administration. I believe this focus allowed, though I will never say caused, 9/11.

Well, personally I think Clinton was far better of a President for the people. He was for Jobs, Health Care, etc. and not for Higher Taxes, and helping out other Countries more than worrying about the people who need it the most. There are some things maybe Bush has done that could be considered as a plus, but I still respect Clinton more. I am not proud of his incidents with Monica Lewinsky, and nor do I condone them, but over all, I feel the other things he did while in office should far outweigh anything else.
