How much time do you spend in front of the computer?

I'm considering myself as 'Computer Addict'. I'm spending 4-5 hours a day in front of the computer, as long as I have nothing else to do. I love to surf on the internet. I wanna know how much time you spend on the computer? Do you consider yourself as 'Computer Addict' as I do? What influence the computer has on your life?

It's not good. You can't spend your intire day just on computer. There are lives out there, and you need to have some fun.

I have to agree here and say that i too am a 'Computer Addict' and loving it ... LMAO!! I can spend anywhere from 3 to sometimes 10 hours a day ... LOL! All depends i guess on what i have to get done that day or what i am doing online. I have held chat conversations for about 10 hours before and i have spent alot of time here on mylot too! As well as other places My computer is my life and i do not think that i could go without one now that i have one!!

Previously i used o spen not more than two hours on the computer. I used to consider people who spend more than a couple of hours on the internet as addicted and people wasting precious time. But now after i joined mylot i started spending even more time..it is 4 to 5 hours daily and sometimes a whole day. Now i think i have to include myself in the category of people i mentioned above. But i am enjoying a lot here and not getting much tired.

As long it's not hurt you to do other things, then it's ok. Just remember that there are life beside computer.

Im online the whole time that Im at work which is 9 hours on weekdays so after I get home I dont put on the computer. I like to go out with my friends in the evening or do other stuff so my time online is only while Im at work. On weekends I spend only 1 or 2 hours in front of the computer as Im out or completing my housework most of the day so I dont know if Id be considered a computer addict.

I work in a call center company and a computer is a must. I got to glue my eyes on my monitor and have fun with my keys for more or less 9 1/2 hours. I don't get much calls every day so while waiting for some callers, I make fun and surf the net, and of course do some postings here on mylot. :)

I do a lot of work online so I can be on for ten hours a day with no problem. Then again, there are days when I just can't stand even being near the computer. That's when I know I need to take a break from it and do something else for a while.

This is good. Sometimes you don't want to be near the computer. A lot of people are not like you, and very addicted to computer, and just can't stop from using it.

I would consider myself a computer addict as well, because any free time I have is either spent with friends, reading a book, or playing on the computer, and the computer gets more time than my friens and books put together lol. I love going on mylot and myspace as well. As far as what influence it has had, I think it has made me smarter. Mylot also improves typing skills! Haha depending on how much you are on here, which for me, is a lot!

I agree with you, but I think that everyone need to get out at least once in a week, and not make the computer as their main hobbie. There are life outthere, and we can't spend all of our life infront of the computer. MyLot is helping me to improve my English, and even my English teacher has notice to that. You said you have myspace. Well I have myspace too. Send me your link, and I will add you to my friends if you want.

I took computer course in college and I feel useless in a day without using it. when I was in college, I constantly check every online accounts that I have. When I started working, internet access is prohibited but we’re still using computers. I see to it that I am online at least once a week.
