Iran, getting tough with

United States

Iran has been criticised by the international community over the last few years for a number of alleged actions. For example, its support and arming of Hezbollah against Israel, and its support and arming of Shi’ite groups such as the Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq (SCIRI) which have been implicated in terrorist and sectarian violence in Iraq. Should the West take tougher measures against Iran for its alleged nuclear weapons programme or should this issue be resolved using dialogue?
