I do believe in love at first sight and I have a great story. My Grandmother was 14 years old, walking home from the movies with her friends. My Grandfather (he was 21) happened to drive by with his friends and noticed my Grandmom. He had his friend stop the car so he could walk with her. When they got to Grandma's house he asked her to go to a carnival with him the next day. It was their first date. At the carnival he asked her to marry him. They were married for 67 years, had five children and live through many hard times. They were so in love that they even worked at the same place until they retired. Their anniversary was on October 29th. My grandmother had been very ill and was in the hospital. She promised my grandfather that she would not leave him until she saw their next anniversary. On the morning of their 67th anniversary, she called him from the hospital and told him she loved him. Shortly after that she passed. As far as anyone who can assure a love that does not fade or expire. That is solely up to the person doing the loving. I'm sure there are times in every relationship that, based on the decision of the person loving, could go one way or the other. It is a chioce that we make every day to love. Love is when we choose to give up ourself for someone else. It is not always the easiest thing to do.. but I find it is the most rewarding and the most powerful thing we can do for ourselves and for others.
