Is this an example of prejudiceness or being stuck up?

There are people I know that say they are not prejudice and have nothing against another race. But the question is, why do they not allow their kids to date outside of their race?

It may be because they are afraid of the opinion of others, and also if children resulted, there is the possibility of being subjected to racism. I am lucky enough to come from a mixed race family, and though both sides of my family mingled with many different races, they were against my parents marriage to start with for these reasons. It turned out fine though :)
