Does anyone wear disposable contacts? How long to you wear them before taking them out? I use to wear mine 24/7 and just took them out to clean and then back in. Then I went to my eye Dr. and he checked my eyes and told me that my eyes were suffereing from lack of oxygen. That I must not ever take them out. I told him only to clean them. He said I needed to take out my contacts at night and sleep without them so my eyes could get oxygen. I never knew that your eyes neede oxygen. But one night after taking them out regularly at night, I forgot and left them in and I woke up and I could NOT see at all! Even after I took them out and cleaned them and put them back in I still could see. I had to leave them out awhile and then when I put them back in I could see. Lack of oxygen? Don't know.
