what do u most like bout greenday songs

My favorite its Time off your life but i like all the musics

Green day has been around forever. I like many of their songs as well, but for me they tended to get worse and different after Dookie. They made a comeback though, but I still like Dookie and Insomniac as my favorite albums from greenday. Last note I'm not sure what their lead singers name is, Billy Joe I think, but anyway he has a great voice I do say!

What I really like about Green Day's songs is the simplicity. Just like U2, they build their song arrangements around three-chord progressions with rather normal verse-chorus-verse patterns. But their gift for melody, musical hooks, humor and singable choruses are on a much different level. Yes, their songs are not as sophisticated as, say Tool, but their penchant for easy listenable and rocking punk songwriting is unmatched in their generation.
