Awkward Situations And Advice!

Well my awkward situation is my fiancee has children from a previous marriage, he hasn't seen them in a few years but now a get together is being arranged, Im going to meet his children for the first time, he talks highly of them and I know he loves them dearly,I have no real experience with children and am afraid I'll do the wrong thing, I feel shy and awkward already.. Any Advice?

Just be yourself :) I know its scary but the Children need to see YOU as you really are :) Give it time for them to adjust to you.. Some kids feel a little resentful cos their Daddy is no longer with their Mummy.. in time they will get used to seeing Dad with his Lady.. Just be you and have HEAPS of fun!!!
