Wut's Easier Birth Control Wise?!

wut's easier recovery wise, for a woman to get her tubes tied or for a man to get a visectomy?

From what I understand - it sounds like it's much cheaper and easier on the man to get a vasectomy. But then I have also heard that there are apparently new methods for women who want to get their tubes tied - like some new way where you can actually get it done in the doctors office. Don't know all the info.

really, i haven't heard about the dr.'s office thing yet! but i've heard that it's easier for the men also! thx

My best friend had her tubes tied last year - they went in thru the belly button. She was up and about the same day. No pain whatsoever. It is cheaper for a vasectomy, though - about $500 vs. $2500+ for a tubal ligation.

really, do u know if insurance companies cover any of that?

My hubby had a vasectomy - it was very easy and had almost NO recovery time at all.
