everytime i see bush's smirking face on tv i get so angry. the fact that up to 60,000 civilians have died (over 100,000 in other reports). over 3,000 american service men and women have died. 127 british service people have died. and still bush can go on tv and make jokes and smile. no appology

Bush is not the only one making desicions, there is the house and the senate, he is not the only one who says yes or no. And understandably are people who are angry because of 9/11, but that is our (USA) own fault, we stuck our nose into their business over 10yrs ago and it came back to bite us on 9/11 so helping them fix their country will not only make life over there more pleasant, but it will make the usa safer in the long run. I personally like Bush I think he is able to respond to us in a way that we can understand instead of trying to be this superior person to us, he tries to relate to us. good day

Also, till a couple of weeks ago, his party controlled both houses, and the US President does have the 'Presidential Veto'!

cassie, i see what you're saying but bush is supposed to be accountable for it all. he is the president after all, in the uk here we have a cabinet of ministers who lead our country, although blair has taken a more presidential role, he is 'the first among equals' so here the whole cabinet is accountable. but as you have a different system in the US, the president takes a more leading role. i just think his attitude stinks. his inapropriate witt and lack of compassion is completely out of order. a true leader would know how to compose himself in public, and know how not to offend people. i have friends serving in iraq and if anything was to hasppen to them i don't know what i'd do. if i was a family member of one of the deceased troops i don't think i could bare to see him laughing and joking everytime he makes a speach. i think it's so offensive.

On advice from my therapist, my New Years resolution has been to avoid political arguments, so now, whenever Georges beaming face gurns at me from the tv, I just imagine 'cheetah' from the Tarzan films. The 2 quickly morph together, and my blood pressure starts to fall.

For the younger members of myLot, cheetah was Taezans best friend, and despite his name, he was a chimpanzee!

Im not angry at Pres. Bush as president he has to make his best conviction to protect his people, however, Im angry with his policy! To punish a wild and dangerous dog in the school of dogs is not to shoot the flock of dogs. That's what had happen in Afghanistan and Iran.

Yes! He really seems to be clueless or he just simply doesn't care.

I completely agree! He seems to be trying to cover for the mistakes he's made in Iraq but it is just angering people more! He just is not a competent leader and I'm glad the democrats are moving up, hopefully he will be out of power soon!
