should there be more rule over having a dog as a pet?

i dont have a dog as a pet but a couple of days ago there was a girl who got attacked but the family dog she unfortually dies in this event but over this year there have been alot of dog attacks and i think they are bring stricter rules about having dog as pet wat do you think of this?

there are laws to abid by cocerning pets and i think its up to the head of family to take in to consideration the family makeup and thendecide the best breed of dog they get and if after bring the pet home it doesnt work out find a more suitable home for that pet thats what being a responsible pet owner is all about

I think they should have stronger laws against this but at the same time its up to the familys individually if they want to keep a dog with a child, personally i would not have a dog and a child in the same house as even tho some dogs are friendly they are unpredictible and ALL dogs CAN snap.
