Ever have it? What was your home remedy?
Some of the kids at my daughters school keep passing it back and forth to each other.. While I've been trained pretty good at removing them from her, she must have used my hairbrush because I found a louse in my hair :(
Just trying to get some ideas from you folks.. maybe someone has a good trick I haven't tried yet (p.s-I do NOT use those OTC lice shampoos)

have you heard of using dilluted vinegar and lemon juice these work brilliantly and are great for conditioning your hair aswell especially if used once a month i know it doesn't sound great but it really does work

We used vegetable oil & kept it on for a few hours. It was a pain to wash out but seemed to do the trick. Put a shower cap or plastic wrap on the head after the oil. It smothers the lice.
