I´m too stupid to figure out the earnings for members of this site

First of all, I´m not here for the money, but for fun. But I´ve read so many different things (some contradictionary) about what we get here that I really can´t figure out any more what myLot considers quality. I only posted two answers yesterday around the same time as today which were neither too short and in my humble opinion definitely not stupid. The earnings for the answers don´t show up, but the ones for the discussion I started do. They updated my earnings 8 hours ago. I posted answers to 2 older discussions my friends made. Maybe someone could explain this to me?
