Where has everyone went???

I think some computers are down because of a cable problem in the deep blue sea.

as i know member in asia included me have problem internet connection after powerful earthquake hit taiwan and destroy internet cable on the sea.untill know the connection is slow very slow,last jnuary will fixed 100% taiwan affocial said. so my time on mylot very short. about holiday too i think is true.just wait.

W ehave been really busy the last 3 weeks so I haven't been around much. With my son off of school and his PC not hooked up yet, he is using my PC. My husbands brand new PC broke two weeks ago and is at the shop so that is one more person fighting for computer time. I am going to start logging more time next week when things calm down a bit more.

I hope it is only because of the holiday season, as I am running out of discussions to respond to. I spent most of yesterday just reading the responses and then I resorted to playing games. I am not even getting as many emails to say my friends have started a new topic. I think I will take to-day off to catch up on my household chores and come back later. Things might have changed by then.

I know that I really didn't log on much during the holidays! I can't speak for others but somedays I'm really into it and somedays I could care less even if a bunch of people responded to my discussions... I really want to put effort into it to make mylot successful or it's not really worth loggin on!

Others are right about the internet problems overseas. But also, holidays have no doubt kept some people busy with their families for awhile. I myself haven't noticed the decrease in people here on Mylot because this is only my third day here, but I hope that the people and friends that you are looking for show back up soon so that you can have fun chatting with them again! ^_^ In the meantime, I am sure that you will see me around since I am posting over 100 posts these last couple of days! LOL! ^_^

I think it is a combination of things. The Christmas and New Year time would have meant many were busy with other things plus a lot of Asia was unable to get online due to the cable being cut. Also a lot lost ratings and earnings when myLot changed the rules and I note that many of them have not been back since that time. Other members are saying that a lot of people had been banned, some are fed up with the cheaters and spammers here and have gone elsewhere. It is unfortunate when good people leave, at any time, but worse when it is because of spammers and cheats. I can understand that because I spent a lot of time making reports to myLot about some of these in my own discussions. Their posts have all been deleted now which is good, and I would hope that they have been banned as well, but it is time consuming. Also hope that some of the good people come back here again, but only time will tell of course and in the meantime we just have to plod on as best as we can I would guess. :)

Hi there stephanie i still here.. i come and go, I have been busy with so many other things.. trying new things online.. and busy outside of the internet. But i wn't be leaving for good.. But i to notice things are a little different around here. seems quiet.

I noticed this too. It is probably a combination of things. The holiday, the earthquake, the changes made by mylot. Some found other ways to make better money, but they found this through My Lot. I have found a better paying place too, but I am still here because I am ADDICTED! LOL

I've only been on Mylot for two weeks, and have seen some good discussions ( and some very bad ones), I don't think that a two word discussion is a discussion (especially if the words are abbreviated). I assume some will have gone for good and others will be back after the holidays, I'm different because I'm on holiday this week giving me more time to use MyLot, after I am back at work my time will be more limited. I only respond to what I think is quality discussion, although my opinion on that may differ from other people.
