how do you get into a good mood? If you are in a bad one?

I always try to think about something I like to do...or better yet-do it. That way you are not concentrating on the thing that put you in a bad mood.

That is very true. I usualy find that with me , I try to solve the problem first if I can. If you cant then the next best thing is to get your mind on the positive.

i just open my photo album of my college time and the bad mood vanishes. i love those days.

Thank goodness for great memories. We have beautiful reflections on the past!I just wish I could be that young again.....Enjoy your youth because its very fleeting! Appreciate the response, happy my lotting.

Try and think of happy thoughts. Like the day you felt when you child was born (if you have children!), or the first time you went to disneyland. Do you have a pet? My dog always cheers me up when I'm in a bad mood or sad. he doesn't even have to do anything. I just look at him, he gives me this funny look and tilts his head...and I laugh. Rent a funny movie, to the park and watch children play. It's amazing the things children say and do!

Shopping, yes, thats a wonderful idea and I think thar would defintly help. Music always helps. So first go shopping then listen to music and then turn on your tv.....

I usually just sleep it off and hope that when I wake up, I'll be in a good mood. Works for me most of the time.

Bad mood? what is it? I smlie to myself first thing every morning. After I say good morning to my girls (2 dogs and one cat, all girls)and having good cup of coffee, I am already in morning euforia. If I find myself in funny mood, I try to call my mother or my friends. I watch good movie or walk a mile...

I love to have that coffee in the morning. I smile and say hi to my husband, three dogs and 4 birds.. and then im into my work for the day and trying to get a chance to post in here.

My husband will dance and sing arround the house. Its pretty funny at times. I just feel bad when he sings the dogs howl...lol shhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeee

it depends on how bad my mood it but typically, i either listen to music or watch a really funny, good-laugh, and heartwarming movie... in that way, i would convert my thoughts on it and i won't thinking the things that made me feel bad mood

Thats a very good idea. I love really good movies and they do help. I also like posting on here and I think this is really good for people. Its a great way to vent...lol

I do many things- I play games with my daughter.. I read funny jokes at work ( I keep them saved up for bad moments) I listen to my favorite music loud and sing along I dance in the livingroom I walk outside (weather permitting) get a backrub from hubby take a long hot bath with lots of bubbles talk to my mom find anyway to laugh!

Back rubs are so awesome. I have found they really do help keep the knots out of your back. Bubble Baths are just miracle workers.....just dont fall asleep in the tub!

music therapy works best. i am a music lover and when im feeling that my day is a little bit down, i do listen to good musics. it makes my nerve relaxed!

I dont know how we could live without music. I love it all. It just so healing to sing and to have beautiful sounds lifting our spirits.
