Anyone tried the Neti Pot?

I have a horrible sinus infection right now, and suffer from daily sinus headaches even when I don't have a sinus infection. A friend of mine suggested purchasing a Neti Pot, which is something you use to cleanse your sinus cavity. It looks like a genie lamp..you fill it with warm water and a saline solution and let it run through your nasal cavity by pouring the water through your nose while breathing through your mouth. This product can be found at www.bytheplanet.com for those of you who have never heard of it. For those of you who have, do you have one? How well does it work? I ordered one yesterday in hopes of curing my chronic sinus headaches and frequent sinus infections. The friend who suggested it swears by it, as he bought one and it prevented him from having to have surgery on his sinuses.
